Evaluation - Measuring Success

TEDCO offers evaluation on all of our programmes and a written report is provided as a record.

Evaluation shows us what students have achieved during a programme and how the results have augmented their personal development, creativity and aspiration.  We evaluate learning outcomes, attitude changes and overall enjoyment of every session of every programme.  Below is a summary of what is measured:

How is evaluation carried out?

Your TEDCO Enterprise in Education contact carries out all of the evaluations.  They are paper based and take only minutes for students to complete at the end of every session (Pre and Post Evaluation is carried out in the first and last session of a long term programme).  We then analyse the forms using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) and produce a report based on the findings.  Your school receives a copy of the report which can be used to show OFSTED, the LEA, other teachers etc. how the students (and teachers) have benefited from the Enterprise in Education programme(s).

Workshop Evaluations

We offer several industry days and sometimes these are split into workshops.  Running workshops allows skill usage mapping and self review to take place.  Students complete the relevant session evaluation by stipulating what they have learnt and any skills that they have used in that session.  They also complete an “End of Session” evaluation which ranks their overall enjoyment of the day. These responses are then input into a data package for analysis.
