Enterprise in Education

TEDCO’s Enterprise in Education project was launched in 2000 to offer broad based enterprise development and business awareness programmes to schools throughout the North East. The project aims to build young people's self-esteem, aspirations, confidence, enterprise and business skills and supports schools and teachers to deliver activities as part of the subject curriculum. These activities and programmes support young people to develop an 'I can' attitude in their educational aspirations and build an enterprising capability that enables them to become flexible enterprising and creative employees or to see business and/or self employment as a viable future career option.
